Values, units & naming
The display rules that keep figures honest.
- 13F position values are reported in whole U.S. dollars (SEC rule since 2023) and displayed as reported; totals are labeled “Reported 13F portfolio value” — never “assets under management,” which a 13F does not measure.
- Filing figures carry their report period (e.g. “Q2 2026”) and, where relevant, the filing date. Market quotes carry their own delayed as-of time. The two are never merged into one timestamp.
- Missing values render as “—” with the reason stated nearby (not yet filed, below reporting thresholds, unmapped security, insufficient comparable data) — never as zero.
- No scientific notation anywhere; changes in holder counts are absolute (+12), changes in shares and value are percentages of the prior comparable value; percentage-point changes are labeled “pp”.
Limitazioni
Rounding in the filings themselves (whole-dollar values, share counts) carries through to derived ratios such as implied prices.
