Research, not advice

Research and information only — not investment advice. Trade Filings publishes data compiled from public SEC filings, derived research statistics and editorial context for research and educational purposes. Nothing on this site is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security or other financial instrument, and nothing here should be relied upon as personal financial, legal, or tax advice. Consult a licensed financial adviser before making investment decisions.

What 13F data is — and is not. Form 13F discloses reportable U.S. long positions of large institutional managers as of quarter end, up to 45 days late. It omits short positions, bonds, cash, most non-U.S. holdings and all intra-quarter timing. Reported totals are 13F portfolio values, not assets under management. A manager's appearance in — or absence from — any list on this site implies nothing about skill, intent, or future behavior, and reported position changes are not confirmed open-market trades.

Derived metrics are descriptions. Momentum labels, conviction scores, streaks, consensus counts and similar figures are proprietary research statistics computed from filings under the formulas on the methodology pages. They describe reported history; they do not predict returns and are not ratings. Past ownership patterns never guarantee future results.

Insider and beneficial-ownership data. Forms 3/4/5 and Schedules 13D/13G are lawful, mandatory disclosures. This site reports them as filed and never infers intent beyond what a filing states. Only open-market purchases (code P) are counted as insider buying.

Data accuracy. Filings are parsed programmatically and may contain their filers' errors; amendments can revise any quarter after the fact. Market quotes are delayed and indicative, never tradable prices. We cannot guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability — verify against the original SEC documents linked on each page.

No liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trade Filings and its operators accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Use of the site constitutes acceptance of these terms and the Terms of Use.
